The Ceaseless ‘Ceasefire’ Demands Are a Fraud

Did anyone even notice that Russia and China just vetoed a U.S. proposal in the UN Security Council for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war? Or that the Palestinians’ Arab “brothers” from Algeria also voted against it? When can we expect to see enormous free-free-Palestine protests against the three naysayers?

When the Messiah rides his white donkey through the sealed-up Golden Gate into Jerusalem — that is when.

What exactly was the objection to the American proposal for an immediate ceasefire, with Hamas to let the Israeli hostages go? Was Vladimir Putin concerned that someone might point out that he holds thousands of Ukrainian hostages from the war of extermination he is fighting against that traditional Russian punching bag? Did Xi Jinping fret about the world noticing that he has imprisoned something like one million Uyghurs in prisons and concentration camps as part of his effort to wipe out an entire people? Were the Algerians furious at the thought that a bunch of Jews might return from being buried alive?

Or was the whole thing just a poke in the eye at the Americans? Who cares? The free-free-Palestines sure as hell don’t, because their demand has never actually been for a “ceasefire”; it has always been for Israel to cease hostilities and let Hamas claim victory. That is why they made no objection during an actual ceasefire in November, when Hamas violated it by sending its terrorists to murder Jews in Jerusalem. Jewish blood doesn’t count.

A close friend of mine, a very learned rabbi with one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve ever met, recently told me he thinks a lot of the pro-Palestinian protesters really are just upset about all the bloodshed in Gaza, and don’t necessarily wish to see Israel destroyed amid a second Holocaust. Doubtless many do feel that, in some vague way, and many more are content to go along with what they are assured is a vital human rights and social justice cause. But they are led and manipulated by people who most certainly do wish destruction upon Israel, with the maximum of Jewish bloodshed. And they, the protesters who have nebulous good intentions or are just followers, are responsible for taking sides in a war they know little to nothing about. Has anyone asked Billie Eilish and Ava Duvarney, who beamed as they sported “Artists 4 Ceasefire” pins at the Oscars, whether they agree with the popular “protest” slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” whether they understand that it is a call to wipe the Jewish people out in their ancient homeland, and whether they even know which river and which sea are meant, as more than half the protesters quizzed last fall do not? And if they don’t know, why are they “using their voices” to intervene in matters they are ignorant of?

Nor do the questions stop there. At what point are ignorance and vague good intentions no longer an excuse for taking part in a movement that has deliberately ratcheted up the hatred and violence against all Jews everywhere to a degree unknown since the Holocaust? At what point will the apologists take responsibility for prolonging this war, with its calamitous toll in suffering and death among Gaza Palestinians, by egging Hamas on, so that the rapists and murderers can believe that “the world” is with them?

I’m waiting for that white donkey.
